We heard from students that there was a skatepark just down the street, so after the last show we packed things up and headed on over. We didn't even get 5 minutes into the session before someone called the cops... Turns out they don't allow bikes at this park. I'll be writing a more detailed story on the site in the near future that outlines how that promotes discrimination and seggregation. We need to enlighten cities to the fact that public parks, truely need to be open to the public! This city could have the next Dave Mirra growing up right next door to this park, but we'll never get to find out, because this city decided not to allow this kid to follow his dreams...

Lucky for us, there were some dirt jumps adjacent to the park, and we have pro dirt jumper Loren Lavern with us, so it wasn't a total loss...
