Dan Sieg
ProFile

Dan is one of those Mid-West riders that you may have heard of. He takes incredibly difficult tricks and makes them look simple. I've seen him pull off just about any variation of a tialwhip there is...A strong mixture of burly and tech, this guy is just getting started.

Name: Dan Sieg .....not Seig
Birthday: 8/27/1982
Hometown: Monticello, MN ( Just outside Minneapolis)
Been on Stuntteam: around 3 years
Years riding: 8 or 9....ramps for about 5
First Bmx bike: Dyno VFR
Current bike: Standard OX STA
Favorite place to ride: Jaycee park in Greenville, and the old Green Acres in MN

Why did you start riding bikes:
My friend got a bike and I thought it was rad so I just started cruising around town...pretty much like every other kid out there.  Then it just sort of progressed into bigger and better things

Did you ever imagine that you would be riding professionally:
I dont know...I never really thought about it as being pro or not.  I mean it was always a dream and what-not but I never really sought out to be "pro" I guess it just sort of happened and its working out pretty good I guess.

When you arent riding your bike, how do you enjoy spending your free time: I play a bit of Nintendo and sleep a lot.  I dont really have much free time because I never wake up before 2 in the afternoon unless I have shows in the morning.  When im back home (in Wisconsin) I like to go four wheeling and stuff and a bit of snowmobiling but nothing to much outside of riding interests me.  Girls maybe..........haha.  Girls are to much work usually. So I tend to stick to bikes only.

This is just one example of making a hard trick look easy...bottomside toothpick grind...absolutely sick!!!

If you could tell someone reading this anything, what would it be?
The one thing I always have told myself is to find something that you really like to do and comitt to it and give it 100 percent.  Some people it takes a bit longer to find that but there is something out there for everyone.  I am just fortunate enough to have something that I love so much.  But yea...just find something you enjoy and do it to the fullest.

Is there anyone you would like to thank?
First off my parents for supporting me 100 percent my whole life.  All my friends and everyone I ride with.  Dan hubbard and everyone at Creative Sports.  Mr. Scarborough for something or another im sure.  Rick at Standard. Matt Coplon at Profile.  Eric at Adidas and anyone else who has ever hooked me up along the way.
