Why did you start riding bmx bikes?
When I saw this guy named Ricky Call riding this jump that was in my front yard, that I didn't even know was there, cause I wasn't into riding bikes yet. We were pulling into the driveway when he cut us off and did a jump right in front of us...I told my mom right there that I wanted to do it! And it just progressed from there, I started riding with him, and I got better the more I practiced...and here I am!

Did you ever imagine that you would be riding professionally?
Never... no way... I mean, I never wanted to stop riding, but I never imagined that I would be able to make a living at riding my bike.

Jon is one of those riders that can ride anything! He's got incredible flatland skills, blasts the box jump and quarter, and can get tech with the lip tricks, like this no-footed nosepick. Rock On!!!

When you are not riding your bike, how do you enjoy spending your time?
Playing the guitar!!!

If you could tell someone reading this anything, what would it be?
Never give up! Stick with it! Things will come around, I'm living proof of that!! All my friends made fun of me for riding my bike, and now I'm living my dreams and they are all back home working at taco casa. So stick with it!!!
