There's a possibility you may not have heard of Mat before. He's one of those guys that everyone knows is out there! The guy that hasn't pushed to be in the public eye, but is such an amazing rider. He pushes the envelope everytime he's on his bike. Always impressive!!!

Why did you start riding bmx bikes? It was an outlet for me! I had a hard time growing up, parents were going through a divorce, and it was a place to put my energy! It's something that came naturally to me, and I stuck with it!

Did you ever imagine that you would be riding professionally? I imagined it, but that's as far as I ever thought it would be...

When you are not riding your bike, how do you enjoy spending your time? Watching movies, building things, helping out friends.

This may not look that crazy at first glance, but when you realize that Mat is spinning a 720, and he's somewhere in a different atmosphere, you gain a great respect for his riding capabilities!

If you could tell someone reading this anything, what would it be? I don't know...I'm stumped, um... don't fart next to a fire....oh, man, I'm just kidding (laughter)...ride and have fun!
